Interskate 91 South in Wilbraham has been an entertainment icon in Western MA for 25 years, serving local communities’ family entertainment needs with roller skating, laser tag and playground. In addition to entertaining the community, Interskate 91 South has made, and continues to make, countless donations to schools, churches and community groups to aide their fundraising efforts.
On Wednesday November 25, Interskate hosted a Food Drive to help support The Community Survival Center. Nearly 100 people donated food items totaling almost 200 pounds of food. The Community Survival Center has many wonderful volunteers and programs to help the less fortunate in Springfield. Around the holidays they need the most help, and Interskate is doing something about it.
“The statistics of hunger in our country and in our state are worrisome” said Rob Gould, General Manager at Interskate. “We just want to help in some way, and working with the Community Survival Center in Indian Orchard is one way we can give back to the community”. He went on to thank the skaters in Western MA for their support in the event.
