Learning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) through Roller Skating


Who?  Interskate91 South located in Wilbraham, Ma. Interskate 91 has teamed with Southbridge Public Schools to offer its first ever S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) educational field trip.  Approximately 80 third grade students from West Street School will experience a three- hour field trip experience provided at no cost.


What?  Interskate91 South has launched a new S.T.E.M. field trip program that is transforming the way guests look at our business.  Experienced, motivated, and high- energy educators combine S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts with everyday experiences, even FUN things like roller-skating, to S.T.E.M lessons.

Where?  Interskate91 South is located at 2043 Boston Rd., Wilbraham MA 01095


When?  Wednesday May 25, 2016 from 10am-1pm.


Why?  To get children excited about S.T.E.M. Roller skating is such a natural fit when it comes to explaining STEM concepts, and the students are always completely amazed by the connection.


How?  STEM experts from across the country have designed our curriculum. The program lessons will be presented by one of our trained educators.
